Your access to or use of the Site (even when you do not avail of any services on the Site) or the booking, purchase or availment of the Services available on the Site signifies your acceptance of the Medical waiver and Disclaimers and your agreement to be legally bound by the same.
1. You acknowledge that the Site allows you to avail virtual/digital/online classes, courses, sessions and workshops relating to Yoga and Meditation directly from Yoga Vedanta and various trainers engaged by Yoga Vedanta, through online mode on our website www.yogavedanta.com and also through video teleconferencing software programs (hereinafter referred to as “Services”).
2. Yoga Vedanta aims to provide a safe practice with general guidelines. Its live online Yoga classes are thoughtfully planned. However, when online, it is up to the individuals to assess whether they are ready for the class. Yoga is practiced according to an individual's physical condition and needs. The presence and guidance of a teacher is crucial for a comfortable, productive Yoga practice.
In the interest of your physical and mental wellbeing, you understand and acknowledge that:
Inherent risks:
3. The Services offered herein, by their very nature, include certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries and/or any kind of losses. You understand that Yoga includes physical movements, and the risk of injury is always present and cannot be eliminated.
4. You are fully aware of the risks involved in practicing Yoga. You affirm that you alone are responsible for deciding whether to practice Yoga, and your participation is at your own risk.
5. You affirm that you are voluntarily participating in the online classes offered by Yoga Vedanta, including but not limited to practicing Yoga, Yoga-related workshops, Meditation etc.
6. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the online yoga classes being offered by Yoga Vedanta, you hereby agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which you may suffer/incur as a result of participating in the online classes. You further agree that Yoga Vedanta shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any injuries, loss, or damage suffered or incurred by you while participating in the online classes. You knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim that you or your heirs may have against Yoga Vedanta, any of its affiliates, franchisees, business partners and their respective instructors, staff, owners, sponsors, representatives, directors, officers, independent contractors, consultants, agents, employees and/or volunteer staff for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which you might suffer/incur as a result of participating in the online classes.
Illness/Injury:
7. You are aware of your physical limitations and medical history and that your participation by accessing and availing our Services may, in some circumstances, result in a physical injury or impact/worsen psychological condition or mental fitness.
8. You also undertake that you are sufficiently self-aware and would stop any physical activities done through the Services offered by us before you become ill or injured, physically or psychologically.
9. You will not attribute any such illness/ injuries/loss to your health, of any kind, to the Services offered by us. Further, we make no representation, whatsoever, that Services provided by us are appropriate or safe for use.
10. You will not participate in the Services under the influence of heavy medication, drugs, alcohol or other mood-altering substances, or undertake the training offered through our Services while driving or operating any machinery.
Consultation by physician/healthcare provider:
11. You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician before and regarding your participation in the online Yoga classes offered by Yoga Vedanta. You represent and warrant that you are physically fit, and you have no medical condition which would prevent your participation in the online Yoga classes offered by Yoga Vedanta.
12. You would consult your physician or health care provider before enrolling for the Services offered by us, in the event you are or expect/suspect to (a) be pregnant, or (b) wear a pacemaker, or (c) suffer from epilepsy or seizures, or (d) have a history of mental illness, or (e) have eating disorder, or (f) have diabetes, or (g) have any other physical/ psychological/ emotional/ medical condition, or (h) are taking any strong medication.
13. You will obtain the approval of your health care provider/doctor before participating in the Services, in the event you are over 65 years of age.
Medical Aid:
14. There is no obligation for any person to provide you with medical care while performing the activities offered under the Services.

15. Yoga Vedanta makes no claims, representations or guarantees that the Services offered would provide a therapeutic benefit to all its Users. We hereby disclaim any guarantees of exactness as to the duration, type, satisfaction from the Services provided by us.
16. Yoga Vedanta is not a health care provider or a medical device provider and that our Services are neither medical/health care advice, nor a replacement for, or are a form of, therapy, and that the Services are not intended to cure, treat, or diagnose any medical conditions which a User may have.
17. Yoga and/or Meditation are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions.
18. The techniques and suggestions presented in the online classes offered by Yoga Vedanta are not intended to substitute for proper medical advice.
You, for yourself and for your heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns, fully release, waive and forever discharge any and all rights or claims of any nature whatsoever, including but not limited to any claims pertaining to a physical or mental injury or illness, or claims arising out of negligence against Yoga Vedanta, any of its affiliates, franchisees, business partners and their respective instructors, staff, owners, sponsors, representatives, directors, officers, independent contractors, consultants, agents, employees and/or volunteer staff or anyone else, that you may have now or in the future, in relation to or in connection with or arising out of the availing of Services by you. Without limiting the foregoing, you further release any recourses which you may, now or hereafter, have resulting from any decision of Yoga Vedanta, any of its affiliates, franchisees, business partners and their respective instructors, staff, owners, sponsors, representatives, directors, officers, independent contractors, consultants, agents, employees and/or volunteer staff or anyone else.
You agree to indemnify (reimburse for any loss) and hold harmless Yoga Vedanta, any of its affiliates, franchisees and their respective representatives, directors, officers, independent contractors, consultants, agents, employees or volunteer staff or anyone else from any loss or liability (including any reasonable legal fees they may incur) defending any claim made by you or anyone making a claim on your behalf, even if the claim is alleged to or did result from the carelessness or negligence of Yoga Vedanta, any of its affiliates, franchisees and their respective representatives, directors, officers, independent contractors, consultants, agents, employees or volunteer staff or anyone else.
