Gentle Yoga

"Yoga is not about touching your toes. It's about what you learn on the way down.”

This famous quote by Judith Hanson Lasater beautifully captures the essence of gentle yoga. It reminds us that the practice is not just about achieving physical postures but rather about the journey of self-discovery, inner growth, and mindfulness that unfolds as we move through each pose with awareness and compassion. Gentle yoga encourages us to focus on the process, the breath, and the present moment, fostering a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us.

Gentle Yoga Classes are generally for people who prefer milder yoga techniques. These classes help people with movement limitations, extreme stiffness due to lack of physical activity, senior citizens with chronic conditions, or someone with little to no exposure to yoga. The classes are designed to be slow paced, non-strenuous and restorative. They comprise of careful stretches and customised asanas approached step by step while focusing on breathing and proper relaxation.
